2018 ARMISTICE DAY

CENTENARY

 

The Armistice Day Service will be in

St James' Church,

in a joint service with the

Sutton Methodist's Church.

 

The Church Service will commence at 10 am,

and last for approximately 45 minutes

 

before moving outside to the War Memorial

at 10.45 am for the

Annual Act of Remembrance at 11 am.

 

Refreshments will be available afterwards

in the Church Hall

 

The Sutton & Wawne Museum will be hosting

their new Great War Exhibition

inside the Old School

 

This Centenary Commemoration is part of a Nationwide Tribute entitled

"THERE, BUT NOT THERE"

part of which can also be seen inside

this church in honour of all those who gave

their lives and suffered so much in the

'war to end all wars'.

Our church is open to all ~

we do hope you will join us.

Everyone is welcome.

 

We meet monthly to learn a repertoire of music so we can support our congregational singing during special services.
